While the energy transition is mainly associated with electricity from wind and solar, we must not forget that around half of Europe’s energy demand is used for heating and cooling and that around 75% of this energy still comes from fossil fuels.
In order to achieve the EU climate targets by 2050, more focus must be placed on heating and cooling.
Act!onHeat offers a platform for exchange between stakeholders, information on the state of the art and freely available software.
