Improving air quality with electric fleets!
Electric vehicle usage is not limited to private car owners. Upgrading to electric buses, taxis and corporate fleets is underway in many cities worldwide, paving the way to better air quality and less noise. Fleets no longer require petrol station facilities but do require depot charging stations or Park and Charge spaces with reliable connections to the power grid. Ideally, when charging stations are powered by renewable energy, e-mobility vehicles reduce local noise and air pollution and contribute to decarbonising the whole transport sector.
Over the last two decades, Dornier has advised government agencies on fleet electrification and charging infrastructure implementation despite different e-mobility standards across countries and regions. Today, we will provide a snapshot of current topics of e-mobility.
