Christoph Gipp is our head of business unit Mobility.
Christoph Gipp is a Senior Expert in the field of the strategic development and planning of transport and mobility services and infrastructure in the urban and long distance sector. Since 2022 he is in charge of the business line mobility at Dornier Consulting International GmbH / the Dornier Group.
Between 2015 and 2021 he was member of the board of directors at IGES Institut GmbH and started there in 2010 in the position head of mobility consulting. Between 2007 and 2010 he managed the transport consulting division and the Region Americas at the German Rail’s consulting firm DB International (today DB Engineering and Consulting GmbH).
Christoph Gipp has more than 20 years of experience in research and transport consultancy for transport authorities, operators and industries on national, European and international level.
Special Expertise: Christoph Gipp has an extensive knowledge in restructuring projects in the transport sector, feasibility studies for transport and especially railway projects as well as urban transport planning, economics and policy. Additional specific project experience includes all fields of public transport modes and logistics as well as legal aspects and spatial effects caused by transport infrastructure. He is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
