New optimization methods in deconstruction
Our Business Unit Nuclear Services recently took part in a research project financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). This research project, entitled “NukPlaRStoR”, dealt with the development of a user-friendly cost-optimizing planning tool for nuclear dismantling projects taking into account material flows for resource planning. It was funded within the framework of the “Research for the Decommissioning of Nuclear Facilities (FORKA)” and accompanied by the project management organization GRS.
As a result, we developed new methods for optimization approaches in dismantling and thus convince a new customer of our capabilities. We are a competent and reliable partner to our clients for all topics relating to the treatment of residual materials in the context of the dismantling of nuclear facilities.
