IR thermography on power plant components

At regular intervals, infrared inspections using thermography are carried out on electrical switchgear at all voltage levels in power stations and industrial plants as part of preventive maintenance. The aim of these inspections is to ensure the availability of the plants with maximum efficiency.

Dornier Power and Heat has been a reliable partner for many years in thermographic inspections of medium- and high-voltage switchgear and in inspections of steam generators, turbines, containers and other plant components. The technical diagnostics team has the necessary personnel certifications for industrial and electrical thermography.

Our services at a glance:

  • IR thermography on various power plant components using a microbolometer camera in the infrared range from 8 µm to 12 µm
