eins energie in sachsen GmbH & Co. KG is an energy supplier based in Saxony. The company was formed in the summer of 2010 from the merger of Stadtwerke Chemnitz and Erdgas Südsachsen GmbH. The company supplies around 400,000 domestic and commercial customers in and around Chemnitz with natural gas, electricity, heating, cooling and water, as well as energy-related services. Services were provided by Dornier Power and Heat at the Chemnitz-Nord power plant site. These included, for example, the revision of operating regulations and company standards for the specialist areas of process engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, electrical engineering and control technology, the revision of P&ID diagrams, operational support for supply and disposal, and support for the implementation of the ‘HG separation’ project.
