Soon the giants will awaken in South Lanarkshire
A team of first-class technicians and heavy crane experts from BMS UK & Ireland is already halfway there.
At the Broken Cross wind farm in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, five of the nine huge Nordex turbines are now reaching for the sky. They are still sleeping, but as soon as these wind giants wake up, their impressive 43.2 MW of power will produce enough electricity to cover the annual energy consumption of around 36,900 households.
A big thank you goes to Paulo Pestana, the installation manager, and his 21-strong dream team for their spotless safety and quality record.
The mood is positively charged as we head full throttle towards a greener future!
