I’d applied for a vacancy in Moorburg and was invited to an interview. At the end, I mentioned that I’d also be interested in working as a trainee as I’d just finished university. Dornier Hamburg had never had a trainee before, and the job was created specially for me. I really appreciated that and decided to take it up.
What path have you taken through the company so far?
I will spend more or less the first three months doing work planning in Wedel CHP plant, helping in the major overhaul. Then I’ll be moving on to the major overhaul in Tiefstack to supervise external companies.
Can you tell us a bit about what you do and about your team?
I conduct the opening discussions with the external companies involved in field erection, as well as supporting the Dornier staff with the day-to-day business of the major overhaul. At the moment I’m working on my own project to optimize the ash management.
