Dr. Ralf Gilgen heads the entire Dornier Group.
He became CEO of Dornier Group in Berlin in 2019 and is responsible for all operating divisions of the business lines Plant Engineering & Management, Energy & Environment, Renewable Energies, Mobility, Nuclear Services, Real Estate and Water. Dr. Gilgen has also held the position of CEO at the subsidiaries Dornier Consulting International GmbH since 2018 and VPC GmbH since 2015.
Ralf Gilgen studied mechanical engineering at Bochum’s Ruhr University, where he subsequently completed his doctorate with a focus on thermodynamics. Prior to joining Dornier Group, Dr. Gilgen was Managing Director Technology at Steag GmbH in Essen, Germany.
