IFC Scaling Solar Ethiopia – Technical, Environmental and Social Consultant
Overview
As a part of this initiative the Scaling Solar initiative the World Bank Group (“WBG”) has been engaged by the Government of Ethiopia (GoE) to support the implementation of up to 500 MW of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) installations in Ethiopia on a PPP basis. The procurement process will be split in to multiple rounds and it is expected that the first round will target 200 – 250 MW over two or three sites. In relation to the Project, Dornier Suntrace in cooperation with GAUFF Power International, has been nominated as the technical, environmental and social consultant for the preparation and support of the tender process.
