During the operation of the KKP Nuclear Power Plant, radioactive waste was generated which was processed by means of various conditioning procedures approved in accordance with the requirements of the Morslebenrepository (ERAM). However, the available waste documentation is not acceptable for final disposal in the Konrad repository currently under construction. EnKK-KKP commissioned Dornier Nuclear Services to review and evaluate the existing documentation of the legacy radioactive waste (evaporator concentrates, sorted and compacted mixed waste, and filter concentrates), and to create on that basis a documentation concept suitable for final disposal, covering radiology, material characterization and packabilityin repository containers. On the basis of the results, the waste product documentation will be compiled. Waste data sheets are created using the AVK program system.
