Anette Wackerhagen is head of the Environment department in the Power and Heat business unit and an environmental expert.
Ms. Wackerhagen has many years of expertise in the environmental planning sector. Her work focuses on the preparation of expert appraisals, consultancy, and project management. As head of department, she has extensive experience in both team and project management. She is an expert in environmental impact assessment of infrastructure projects, and in management and consulting in licensing procedures and public consultation. In addition, she specializes in the topics of contaminated sites and land recycling at project management level. Her customer base chiefly comprises public and private sector companies and local authorities.
In the scope of various projects, Ms. Wackerhagen is involved, among other things, in the environmental planning part of plans to expand the subway network of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Within the context of project management regarding measures for hazard investigation and prevention on contaminated mineral oil industry sites, she is responsible for the team and project management.
Ms. Wackerhagen also has special expertise in the efficient organization of complex, environmentally relevant licensing procedures with public consultation, e.g. for the aspects of objection management, hearings or online consultations to support licensing authorities.
Ms. Wackerhagen studied at Humboldt University in Berlin, graduating as an agricultural engineer (Dipl.-Ing. agr.). She was subsequently Chief Engineer and Managing Director at BFUB Gesellschaft für Umweltberatung und Projektmanagement GmbH.
