Goswin Schreck holds a doctorate in engineering and is an expert in the field of the integrated disposal of nuclear facilities, from the planning of the remote dismantling of core internals of nuclear power plants through residual material and waste treatment facilities to the conditioning and storage of radioactive waste.

Since 2019, Goswin has been in charge of developing Dornier Group’s new Nuclear Services business unit based at the company’s office in Dresden. His high reputation in the industry quickly secured new customers and assignments, which he now takes care of together with his team. The issue of safe final disposal, which is still unresolved in Germany for years to come, holds a growing market potential and calls for innovative solutions for the treatment and conditioning of both waste produced in the past and waste coming from decommissioning and dismantling. Customers will thus continue to rely on the expertise of Goswin Schreck and his team in the future. Previously, he worked at STEAG Energy Services, where he was responsible for dismantling nuclear facilities and for major international projects. Goswin studied mechanical engineering at the University of Hanover and subsequently earned his doctorate in remote dismantling of nuclear facilities, a field in which he worked for over 10 years on international R&D projects.
