Fatja Heidersbach is Senior Strategy Consultant in the Mobility business unit and an expert in sustainable mobility and logistics.
Ms. Heidersbach has many years of international project experience in the field of sustainable mobility and logistics. She advises public and private clients as well as numerous IFIs in the area of sustainable urban and regional mobility and logistics. Her main focus is on policy and strategy consultancy e.g. in relation to the organization and management of international transport corridors and institutional reforms. Other areas of focus include capacity building in urban development management and infrastructure. An expert in strategy development, institutional reform and capacity building in projects for national and local governments, among others, Ms. Heidersbach has a wealth of experience. Urban governance for sustainable mobility, transport infrastructure assessment and prioritization are also part of her portfolio. Her client base mainly includes IFIs such as the World Bank, EBRD, KfW, EU, etc., but also national and local governments and private sector companies.
Ms. Heidersbach was involved in projects related to the development of international transport and economic corridors in Central Asia. She was responsible for the assessment of transport and logistics infrastructure as well as political and legal framework conditions for transport and trade. Analysis of transport and logistics potentials, development perspectives and stakeholder coordination were also within her scope of responsibility.
Ms. Heidersbach studied at Freie Universität Berlin, graduating with an MA in International Relations / Global Politics. She then started her professional career in 1997, working in the private sector and in international development projects.
She joined Dornier as a consultant in 2009.
