Holger Immisch is Senior Consultant in the Business Unit Mobility and an expert in program and multi-project management for complex projects.
For more than 20 years, Mr. Immisch, as a subject area manager, project manager and expert, has advised and assisted in the development, coordination, monitoring and commissioning of complex large-scale projects, especially in program and multi-project management in the infrastructure sector.
The main focus is on construction, transport and research infrastructure projects as well as on mobility. His extensive experience provides him with an interdisciplinary understanding of technical, systemic, financial and procedural aspects of complex projects at the interface between line organizations and diverse international stakeholder groups. He has extensive expertise in German budgetary, procurement and public funding law. Mr. Immisch is active across various sectors, especially in the infrastructure & construction, research, technology, public health, mobility and institutional sectors. His client base includes ministries, regulatory authorities, rail infrastructure operators, rail transport companies, and other public and private sector companies and institutions. Mr. Immisch leads multidisciplinary project teams bringing together both in-house experts and external partners.
From 2019 to 2020, Mr. Immisch was in charge of the operational start-up of the BER airport for the airport company Berlin Brandenburg. Previously, he held a leading position in project support for the FAIR and NAKO research projects on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). An expert for rail infrastructure and financing, he was involved in the preparation of the “Service and Financing Agreement III” between the German Federal Government and Deutsche Bahn AG.
Mr. Immisch studied at the Humboldt University of Berlin, graduating with a degree (Dipl.-Kfm.) in business administration. Subsequently, Mr. Immisch worked as a consultant for an engineering firm specializing in freight transport and logistics until 2002.
