Holger Tranitz is Head of the Electrical Engineering department in the Power and Heat business unit and an expert in electrical engineering.
Mr. Tranitz has many years of experience in the design and engineering of electrical systems and machinery, and in the design of power supply systems. His focus is on project and construction management as well as on commissioning support, retrofitting and new construction projects. In addition, Mr. Tranitz has many years of experience in project management in all project phases, in conceptual design and planning, tendering, bid evaluation, award recommendations and project oversight and commissioning. During his professional career, he has gained extensive experience in various management positions, including as planning manager for electrical engineering, as group leader and, since 2011, as department head. His customer base mainly includes energy utilities, municipal utilities, project developers and industrial companies.
Mr. Tranitz was involved in various projects, such as the construction of the Boxberg and Moorburg power plants and the Frankfurt/Oder CHP plant. His main tasks included planning, tendering, contract award support, construction supervision and commissioning.
Mr. Tranitz studied at the Senftenberg University of Applied Sciences, graduating with a degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in electrical engineering. Subsequently, Mr. Tranitz worked as a design engineer at ABB and as a project manager at ABB.
