For Axpo AG at the Beznau site, we developed specialized cages for the safe transport of drums with a high dose rate. The scope of services included concept development, design, static calculation and production of the cages.

The transport solutions were specifically tailored to the requirements of the nuclear environment. Particular focus was placed on mechanical stability, radiation protection effectiveness and safe handling under operating conditions. The insert baskets were designed in such a way that they can be optimally integrated into existing transport processes while minimizing the exposure of personnel.

The project was successfully implemented in close cooperation with the customer and complies with all relevant safety requirements.
