For EDF at the Cattenom site, we developed and manufactured mobile shielding containers for the safe transportation of components with a high dose rate within the plant. The scope of services included concept development, design, structural analysis and manufacture of the special containers.

The aim of the project was to create a mobile and at the same time highly effective solution for radiation-safe internal transportation. The containers were individually adapted to the transport routes and the specific requirements of the place of use. The focus was equally on radiation protection, stability, manageability and ergonomics.

The design was carried out in accordance with the strict specifications in the nuclear sector and in close cooperation with the customer.
