The project “The Provision of Consultancy Services for a Pre-Feasibility Study into Artificial Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Applications in the Sultanate of Oman” investigates the options for an Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) scheme in the Sultanate of Oman.

Therefore, a hydrogeological assessment of all aquifers of the Sultanate of Oman is carried out, as well as an in-depth analysis of the water network, including transmission and supply.

For identified options, a cost estimate is made, and the results are presented in workshops with all relevant stakeholders.
