We took on the complete implementation of a project to shield radiation-intensive areas for EDF at the Chinon site. The scope of services included taking measurements on site, design, structural analysis, manufacture and installation of the shielding elements.

The aim was to permanently reduce the dose rate in defined parts of the plant using custom-fit shielding constructions. Based on the local conditions, we developed individual solutions that are both technically effective and practical to use. The implementation was carried out taking into account all nuclear-relevant specifications and in close coordination with the operator.
