The availability of water is very important for the further development of the countries with scarce water resources on the Arabian peninsula. Thesubject of this project was the assessment of the groundwater resources in the Umm ErRadhumaaquifer and overlying formations in the remote areas of the Rub’ Al Khali desert. Furthermore, the improvement of the monitoring system was task of this study.
