In order to be able to better plan test series and configurations in advance, the Nuclear Training Reactor (AKR II) and the reactor hall are mapped in a 3D model. The level of detail of the model is chosen in such a way that arrangement planning for the setting up of measuring instruments and external equipment in the test logistics areas is possible.
It is also planned to use the 3D model for estimating the exposure time and dose rate for test series with an open experimental channel. Accordingly, components of the reactor hall that do not directly belong to the AKR II reactor are also covered by the model.
