AGR BetriebsführungGmbH operates a waste-to-energy plant at the Herten site for the thermal energy recovery from municipal waste, commercial waste and hazardous waste. The plant as a total incineration capacity of 700,000 metric tons per year.

In connection with the project “Use of flue gas heat in the incineration lines”, VPC GmbH was asked by AGR BetriebsführungGmbH to submit an offer for the revision of piping & instrumentation diagrams (PIDs) for the plant. To this end, it is necessary to adapt a total of 27 PIDs as well as one process flow diagram and to revise and supplement the documentation directive.
