At the BoxbergPower Plant, officially approved mercury measuring equipment of the SICK and DURAG makes was installed in Unit Q (900 MW) and Unit R (675 MW) on the clean gas side. These measuring systems ensure regulatory monitoring of mercury emission levels. The measuring systems were integrated both into the main control system and into the official monitoring equipment of the central emissions monitoring computer.
