Within the scope of the Haferweg Heating Plant new-build project in Hamburg, Vattenfall Wärme Hamburg GmbH implemented the following measures: Construction of three gas-fired hot water generators (50 MWth each) to supply the district heating network. The district heating system, which is indirectly connected via three heat exchangers, was equipped with pressure maintenance, admixture, accumulation control and pressure surge protection systems.
