The project focuses on a further horizontal and vertical delineation of a groundwater contamination in the Umm Er Radhuma Aquifer affected by decades of oil & gas production. A comprehensive drilling and sampling program shall provide the required data and will help to understand the dynamics of a product phase in a karstified aquifer. A review and assessment of suitable remediation technologies will be part of the project.
