The project will establish a comprehensive data base on the hydrogeology of the Emirate of Dubai. Promising areas for ASR implementation have been identified and will be studied in detail through an extensive field investigation program.

As part of the project groundwater management and protection policies will be developed including the delineation of protection areas and groundwater well licensing procedures.
