The objective of the project is to analyze the traffic and air cargo forecasts, assess the current capacity of the airport and develop a Long Term Investment Strategy (LTIS) and Priority Investment Program (PIP) based on site investigations and traffic forecasting.

The project began in November 2018 with a Kick-off Meeting in Bishkek. The scope of services include historical traffic characteristics and analysis, traffic projections, analysis of existing airport’s infrastructure including terminal, airside and landside capacity, defining a priority investment plan based on consultant’s recommendations.
