The Public Transport Authority (PTA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia places an emphasis on the importance of developing the public transportation services all over the Kingdom to improve the balance among various transport systems. As such, PTA has signed a contract with Dornier to develop public transport services inside the city of Tabuk.

As the current available public transport means are not capable of satisfying the high demand and facilitatingthe mobility inside the city, the objective of this study is to establish the suitable future strategies and operations required by the city’sincreasing demand for mobility in an effective and cost efficient manner.
