The goal of the project is to support the Government of Serbia in understanding  gender patterns in transport sector in Serbia and how this compare to EU countries. The project shall support the Serbian Government in ensuring that the needs of both women and men are effectively incorporated into the design and delivery of the transport services, enhancing access to employment opportunities for female candidates and staff, improving their workplace advancement and raise the number of women employed in the sector at all levels.

Recommendations from the project will be incorporated in the National Transport Strategy.

• Identification of operationally relevant activities and policies that will be integrated in the Transport Strategy of Serbia and its Action Plan
• Capacity building and training of the counterpart staff of selected transport service providers.
