In order to adapt the power plant units at the LippendorfPower Plant to the tightened requirements for compliance with the Hg emission limit values, activated carbon injection systems were installed at units R and S, for injection into the flue gas stream upstream of the electrostatic precipitator to reduce the mercury content in the flue gas.

Dornier Power and Heat provided the complete engineering services for the installation of the activated carbon dosing plants up to the handover to the operator.
