In 2008, the German government selected eight electromobility model regions and provided them with subsidies from the so-called “economic stimulus package 2”.
As part of the project implementation and the efforts of EnBW AG to develop business models for electric mobility, Dornier Consulting was commissioned to compile a market overview for electric scooters and electric bicycles (pedelecs). To the extent possible, this overview included additional information on the service concept and the sales/logistics concept of the manufacturers as well as an analysis of the value chain for e-scooters and pedelecs.
