In the context of plant development, a German automobile manufacturer was planning a new engine plant for the production of Veegasoline engines designed for use across the Group. Areas for a wide range of different types of use were created in this project (essentially: office/social, production, technology), and technically complex systems (engine assembly, cold/hot test, logistics and ancillary production functions) and IT sectors were integrated. The office and social areas also include a canteen and café area for the employees. The existing buildings on the site were cleared and demolished. The confined nature of the site meant that particular attention had to be paid to the execution and site logistics.
