Reuter C replacement power plant, Berlin
Overview
The Reuter combined heat and power (CHP) plant is a power plant that is located in the Berlin district of Siemensstadtand was commissioned in 1931 under the name “KraftwerkWest”.
The Reuter C replacement CHP plant will replace the three coal-fired units of the Reuter C power plant with a thermal capacity of 160 MW.
A gas-fired boiler with a capacity of 3 x 40 MW will be installed for this purpose.
Dornier Construction and Service engineers and supplies the pipe systems as well as the transformers and circulation pumps for the hot water plant to beinstalled. Furthermore the I&C systems and further equipment of peripheral systems form part of Dornier Construction and Services’ scope. Commissioning and hydraulic balancing is carried out by Dornier Construction and Service.
