The project aims at developing the TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia) by enhancing transport dialogue and facilitating network interoperability across the region. The project supported TRACECA countries and its public sector institutions in working towards improvement of the transport links of the EU Trans European Networks with neighboring countries in the Black Sea and Caucasus, as well as in Central Asian countries, thus promoting trade and enabling socio-economic and environmental development in the region.

Project’s purpose was to strengthen regional transport dialogue between the EU and these countries through enhanced co-ordination and working with IFIs, closer collaboration and participation of IFIs and private sector.
