Odisha Power Generation Co. Limited (OPGCL) is the only thermal power generating company owned by Government of Odisha. OPGCL has established the IB Thermal Power Station having initially two units of 210 MW each in the IB valley area of the district of Jharsuguda, Odisha, India. The company kicked off the commissioning activities of two additional supercritical units of 660 MW in 2019.
Encotec has been entrusted with the provision of commissioning support and, subsequently, with maintenance of the two additional units for a period of three years.
