It is the mandate of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) of the Kingdom auf Saudi Arabia organizes, supervises and regulates the public transport industry in the Kingdom. It assures proper operations and excellent management of the professional service at appropriate cost. Moreover, PTA encourages investments in accordance with the economic and social development.

As per Vision 2030, PTA has been assigned the task to develop public transportservices all over the Kingdom. As such, PTA has signed a contract with Dornier to develop public transport services in AlbahaCity and the main surrounding governorates in the region.
