Installation of a process quality monitoring system for the Eemshaven 10 CCGT Plant
Overview
N.V. NUON Energy operates a power plant at the Eeemshavensite (Netherlands) with a rated electrical output of 3 x 450 MW. In order to optimize plant operation in economic terms, Dornier Power and Heat was commissioned to install a process quality monitoring system in Unit 10. The aim is to detect deviations and changes in the plant process and to eliminate them at an early stage in order to reduce plant operating expenditure. The process quality assessment is carried out by a continuous comparison of actual and reference data. For this purpose, a process model of the plant was created using the EBSILON Professional® simulation software, a plant reference condition was stored and a system for online calculation with current operating measurement data was configured. In addition, the monitoring of process parameters was set up with the aid of a statistical process monitoring tool.
