UNDP and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the financial participation of GEF support the efforts of Kazakhstan on reduction of climate change impact and on increase of energy efficiency in the urban sector.

Dornier provided the technical support to the administration of Petropavlcity in preparation of the roadmap and forming an investment projects’ pool for upgrading the urban transport system based on various financing models. The objective is to make a comprehensive analysis of the transport system of Petropavlcity, to develop the recommendations and action plan on its improvement to reduce GHG emissions in the long term perspective, and to improve quality of services.
