The Rostock municipal utility company operates several power generation plants at its SchmarlerDammsite in Rostock.

A boiler plant with a thermal capacity of 116 MW was converted with new firing systems in order to minimize NOx emissions.

Conwico and its partners were responsible for the delivery, installation and commissioning as well as the integration of the water-tube hot-water boiler into the instrumentation and control system.
