Digitization of the power plant documentation at the Moabit CHP Plant
Overview
The MoabitPower Plant was commissioned in 1900. In the years 1987-1989, major parts of the old combined heat and power plant were replaced with a new heating unit with modern atmospheric circulating fluidized bed combustion. Since the end of 2013, the power plant once again has been setting new standards through the use of biomass. The plant was converted for the co-incineration of biomass.
Due to many plant documentation documents being available in paper form only, a digitization project was started in 2015, which is largely controlled and supported by Dornier Power and Heat.
