Exciting News: A new chapter has begun at the Mobility Business Line
We take a great pleasure in announcing that Dornier Consulting International has signed the contract with Addis Ababa City Roads Authority for the implementation of Institutional and Policy Reforms in the Provision of Public Transport Service.
We believe that this project will be a very rewarding experience with respect to establish close cooperation with the World Bank – one of the world’s largest IFI and obtain knowledge for developing countries.
During 8 months the project team will work on reform options to provide assistance in the implementation of reform plan in line with public access and mobility needs in an efficient, sustainable, reliable, affordable, environmentally, safe and user-friendly manner.
The public transport services within the city of Addis Ababa will be transformed in line with sustainable transport trends from taxi industry to mass transit. The transition process will be complemented by developed Public Service Contract system, public transport policy and institutional reformation plan, appropriate subsidy and asset management strategies. The social, gender and inclusion issues will be properly integrated in the project implementation process and strategic solutions for future public transport service in Addis Ababa.
