Dornier Group honored at starting ceremony of high-voltage transmission line project
Under the patronage of his royal highness Prince Saud Bin Naief Bin AbdulAziz (Governor of the Eastern Province), the Minister of Electrical of Iraq Mr.Zeyad Ali Fadel and other high-ranking government representatives of the #GCC states, the starting ceremony for the high-voltage transmission line from #Iraq through #Kuwait to #SaudiArabia was held.
A new interconnection station is to be built in Wafra, Kuwait to complement the Gulf interconnected grid. In order to connect the new station with the Fadhili substation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity new overhead transmission lines will be built.
As #DornierGroup we provide our client #GCCIA with consultancy services, prepare environmental studies and supervise the implementation. At the end of the ceremony, the team was awarded for this support, André Zarse from our Business Unit Power and Heat received the honors on behalf of the team.
