How does transport between Europe and Asia work – without entering Russia?
As a result of the sanctions imposed on Russia and the associated obstruction of the transport route, the need of alternative routes is becoming increasingly important. One of these alternative routes is the so-called “middle corridor”, which connects Europe and Asia bypassing Russia.
Compared to the sea route, which requires a transport time of 35 to 45 days, the use of the middle corridor offers a significant advantage of 13 to 21 days. Together with the German Economic Team (GET), we have analyzed opportunities and challenges associated with the use of the middle corridor.

We also analyze mobility situations in other regions of the world and model alternative solutions.
