Construction site opened: Expansion of the heating network in Bochum
As part of the „Wärmenetzsysteme 4.0 (WNS 4.0)“ project, an energy center (consisting of a combined heat and power plant and heat and cooling pumps using mine water) is to be built on the new “Mark 51°7” district. Planning for this already began in 2020 and will now be gradually realized with the opening of the construction site.
Together with our project partner ARCUS Planung + Beratung Bauplanungsgesellschaft mbH, we are supporting our client Stadtwerke Bochum Holding GmbH as general planner and are pleased to be able to make an important contribution to #energytransition.
