Using the Ultra Pro from our partner Distran, we perform leak detection with ultrasound. Gas leaks are thus detected on the basis of the specific sounds they emit. Compared to other techniques, leaks can be detected up to ten times faster and more effectively – even in unexpected places!
In addition to localizing the leak, the flow escaping through the leak can also be quantified. The ultrasonic method works for any type of gas, even vacuum.
