Recap: DIHKW in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Surrounded by mountains and lush green countryside, we were one of the 18 exhibitors at the vgbe Dampferzeugungsprozesse, Industrie- und Heizkraftwerke (DIHKW, engl.: steam generation processes, industrial and combined heat and power plants) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Discussions on the phasing out of coal and nuclear power, industrial and combined heat and power plants, operational management, large steam generators and firing topics awaited us.
On day 2 of the event, our colleague Steffen Griebe, together with Torsten Mager from KNG Kraftwerks- und Netzgesellschaft mbH, gave a presentation on the state of knowledge of V9 burner optimizations. The response to the presentation was positive and gave us room for further discussion.
We were able to gather many impressions and engage in a lively exchange with the participants of the symposium.
