The Dornier project “Hub Chain” has won another award!
This time, the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure awarded the project’s on-demand booking platform for autonomous shuttles with the “German Mobility Award”. The Hub Chain booking platform helps connecting villages and suburbs to the next public transport station and has been tested in the autonomous shuttle “Hubi” testbeds in Osnabrück and in Bad Essen. Since this kind of on-demand mobility service is still new to the customers, Dornier has shed light on the user requirements for (driverless) shuttle operation and the booking app with various focus group discussions and surveys.
